How can a remediation company charge people hundreds of thousands of dollars to outsource their work to non-certified people to remediate and pay them only approximately $45,000 a year?

While conducting research on the internet, I came across ads from HomeCleanse for “remediation technician” jobs starting at a mere $22/hour1. These jobs are difficult and inherently dangerous and I do not feel it’s ok to pay workers such a low rate when the client is charged hundreds of thousands - you do the math but to me, it seems like Rubino is taking home an awful lot of money - doing nothing. Rubino is hiring people without any experience at all. I have to ask if people are certified at the job sites. ZipRecruiter’s website indicates the average salary for a mold remediator is $30/hour, which is significantly higher than what HomeCleanse pays. In any event, Rubino’s conduct both to workers and customers is exploitative and disgusting.
